Enter Paradise

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْكِنْدِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَصَلُّوا خَمْسَكُمْ وَصُومُوا شَهْرَكُمْ وَأَدُّوا زَكَاةَ أَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَطِيعُوا ذَا أَمْرِكُمْ تَدْخُلُوا جَنَّةَ رَبِّكُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لأَبِي أُمَامَةَ مُنْذُ كَمْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ وَأَنَا ابْنُ ثَلاَثِينَ سَنَةً ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ 

Sulaim bin 'Aamir said: I heard Abu 'amaamah saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) giving a sermon during the Farewell Hajj.  

He said: Fear Allah, your Lord and pray your five (obligatory daily prayers) and fast your month (i.e. during the month of Ramadan) and give Zakaah (the obligatory charity) and obey those in charge of your affair. You will enter the Paradise of your Lord. 

I asked Abu 'amaamah: How old were you when you heard, from the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam), this Hadith?

He said: I heard it when I was 30 years old. 

Abu 'Esaa (Imaam Al-Tirmidhi) said: This hadith is Hasan Sahih

• Al-Haakim Hadith No. 1741. He said it is authentic based on the conditions of Imaam Muslim and Al-Dhahabi agreed with him in respect to this
• Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab Al-Imaan Hadith No. 7348
